Yoga in the workplace.

There are many ways to teach yoga in a corporate environment.
This is my way.

I come to the practice with the goal of investigating what exists in the body today. Not what I can do, or wish I could do, or may do — what is. I love a challenging practice, but I’m not about to teach something strenuous to a group of people wearing jeans. So let’s investigate what’s going to feel good during a fifty-minute hour – or whatever time is suitable for your team.

Let’s plan to move, to address some areas of tightness or overuse. (If your team sits at desks, you’d better expect to get some TLC for those necks and shoulders!) But in most workplaces, I don’t plan on helping people get into handstands.

Teaching with compassion and inclusivity at the forefront.

I want to offer your workspace some peace, some ease — a bit of a change of pace during the day. I don’t want anyone to feel alienated by a spiritual discussion or embarrassed or self-conscious.

In corporate settings, I avoid partner work, focus on cueing poses in English, and generally try to make the class as easy to like as possible.

In all settings, I teach from a strengths-based perspective, and I practice inclusivity, adapting my offering to the needs of the group. That’s what I can offer, so put some time on my calendar, and let’s discuss what would work for your office.

Book 30 minutes on my calendar so I can learn more about your team.
